44-Year-Old Chung Le Dies after Struck by Hit-and-Run Sedan in Walnut Creek
WALNUT CREEK, CA (October 4, 2022) – Chung Thu Le was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Walnut Creek on Saturday evening, October 1.
The fatal crash happened around 7:15 p.m. at North California Boulevard and Civic Drive. According to the Walnut Creek Police Department, Le attempted to cross North California Boulevard when a gold or tan four-door sedan struck her.
The sedan fled the scene before officers could arrive.
44-year-old Milpitas resident Le suffered major injuries and was taken to a hospital, where later she died.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
