Christopher Winters Detained in Deadly Paso Robles Hit-and-Run

 
PASO ROBLES, CA (July 7, 2021) — Christopher Winters was arrested in a fatal hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Meadowlark Road at Deer Springs Drive Saturday morning.
 
According to Paso Robles police, the fatal hit-and-run happened around 2:00 a.m. Under unknown circumstances, a grey vehicle struck a 22-year-old man at the intersection. Subsequently, the driver left the scene, heading eastbound on Meadowlark Road.
 
Shortly after, a dark-colored BMW ran over the pedestrian and fled the scene seconds later. Upon arriving, officers located the pedestrian who died at the scene.
 
Two hours later, officers arrested 32-year-old Winters, whose BMW sustained damages congruent with that of the hit-and-run.
