Car Accident on Highway 58 in Kern County, Christopher Ulloa Jr. Identified
KERN COUNTY, CA (May 30, 2022) – Christopher Ulloa Jr. was killed in a two-vehicle accident on Highway 58 just west of Bakersfield on Thursday afternoon, May 26.
The accident happened around 4:30 p.m. at Cannon Street near the Frito Lay plant. According to the California Highway Patrol, a black Ford pickup truck and a red vehicle collided for unknown reasons. The impact caused the pickup truck to overturn on its roof.
When officers arrived, they found Ulloa Jr. suffering from fatal injuries and pronounced him dead at the scene.
Ulloa Jr. was 21 years old, according to the Kern County Coroner’s Office.
Crews temporarily closed both westbound and eastbound lanes of the highway while they cleared the wreckage.
An investigation into this fatal crash is underway.
