Christine Yan, Isabelle Zhang Die in Pedestrian Crash on Bloomfield Avenue at Lemming Street
LAKEWOOD, CA (March 22, 2021) — Christine Yan and Isabelle Zhang died in a pedestrian accident on Bloomfield Avenue at Lemming Street on March 12.
According to reports, Yan and Zhang had decided to take a brief walk to a family member’s house nearby. However, on their way, an oncoming driver struck them in a marked crosswalk that currently bears no flashing lights.
Immediately after, the driver pulled over and called for help. Unfortunately, 24-year-old Yan and 24-year-old Zhang died as a result of the accident. According to family, the two were close friends.
At this time, the liabilities of the crash remain unclear. However, if anyone has more information on this accident, please contact the police department.
