Motorcycle Involved in Head-On Accident on Sierra College Boulevard in Roseville
ROSEVILLE, CA (February 8, 2021) – A CHP officer suffered injuries in a motorcycle accident on Sierra College Boulevard on February 5.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Roseville Parkway around 5:20 AM.
Based on a report, the officer approached the intersection prior to the crash. At that time, a 27-year-old Plumas Lake woman tried to left turn against a red light. As a result, the two vehicles collided head-on. Upon impact, the victim fell from his motorcycle.
Consequently, the officer sustained moderate injuries in the crash. Crews transported him to Sutter Roseville Medical Center. The woman in the Ford Explorer did not sustain injuries.
At this point, investigators do not believe alcohol or drugs were a factor. However, the CHP Auburn Area is still investigating this motorcycle accident on Sierra College Boulevard.
