Choua Xiong Charged in DUI, Hit-and-Run Crash with Patrol Car on Willow Avenue and Gettysburg Avenue

 
CLOVIS, CA (March 2, 2023) — Choua Xiong faces DUI and hit-and-run charges after crashing into a police car on Willow Avenue and Gettysburg Avenue.
 
According to the Clovis Police Department, the two-vehicle crash happened around 1:00 a.m. For DUI-related reasons, 53-year-old Choua Xiong passed through the intersection, bypassing several cones intended to keep motorists out of the area, and struck a patrol vehicle.
 
The Fresno man did not stop despite the sirens and lights. Shortly after, another police officer was able to pull Xiong over and arrest him. The officer booked him into the Fresno County Jail for suspicion of DUI and hit-and-run.
