2 Children, 3 Adults Hurt in Elk Grove Car Accident on Lambert Road

 
ELK GROVE, CA (May 3, 2021) — Children were among five injured in a car accident on Lambert Road near the 5 Freeway Saturday afternoon.
 
According to Cosumnes Fire Department, the accident happened around 12:45 p.m. Under unknown circumstances, a vehicle flipped over off the road near a levee. Shortly after, medical personnel responded and found two adults and three children in need of medical attention.
 
Shortly after, paramedics brought all five patients to an area trauma center. Although, their condition has not been updated.
 
At this time, the cause and events of the crash require more investigation. However, any witnesses with information should contact the authorities.
