Child Dies in Bakersfield Pedestrian Accident on Seasons Drive

 
BAKERSFIELD, CA (June 3, 2022) — A child died in a pedestrian accident on Seasons Drive near Stine Road on Wednesday night.
 
According to Bakersfield Police officers, the fatal pedestrian accident happened around 7:40 p.m. For unknown reasons, a driver struck a child in the 5400 block of Seasons Drive.
 
Upon responding, authorities found the juvenile with life-threatening injuries, prompting paramedics to rush the victim to a hospital. However, despite life-saving efforts, the unidentified child died.
 
At this time, police included no information on the driver involved in this crash. As for the child’s name, the Kern County coroner’s office will release it momentarily.
