ORCUTT, CA (May 3, 2021) — A child suffered serious injuries in a pedestrian accident on Jensen Ranch Road near Stillwell Road Friday evening.
 
According to reports, the accident happened around 5:35 p.m. just before Santa Barbara County firefighters responded. Under unclear circumstances, a driver struck the child, who reports described as 10 years old. Soon after, a Calstar helicopter and an ambulance arrived so emergency personnel could treat the victim. Following on-site treatment, paramedics airlifted the child to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital for further evaluation.
