SAN RAMON, CA (October 18, 2022) – A child sustained injuries in a pedestrian accident on Alcosta Boulevard on Sunday evening.
 
According to the San Ramon Police Department, the incident happened on October 16 at about 6:00 p.m. A young girl reportedly attempted to cross in a marked crosswalk when a vehicle hit her near Broadmoor Drive.
 
San Ramon Valley Fire medics transported the victim to Children’s Hospital in Oakland. As per reports, the girl remains in critical but stable condition.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
 
Authorities confirmed that no arrests have been made.
 
San Ramon police continue to investigate the cause of the accident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
