Child Among Hurt in 2-Car Crash on 47th Street

 
LINCOLN PARK, CA (November 3, 2021) — A child was among several people injured in Tuesday’s two-car accident on 47th Street at Logan Avenue.
 
According to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department, the accident happened close to Fresheria restaurant in Lincoln Park, San Diego.
 
For unknown reasons, a 60-year-old woman driving at a high rate of speed ran a red light and collided with a westbound vehicle. Due to the impact, the car that was hit crashed near Fresheria, injuring patrons of the eatery.
 
Soon after, authorities responded and tended to the five seriously injured victims and two people in the vehicle that struck the eatery.
 
As for the 60-year-old driver who caused the accident, she fled the scene, but police became successful in capturing her.
