Child in Critical Condition after Roseville Hit-and-Run on Hayden Parkway near Blue Oaks Boulevard

 
ROSEVILLE, CA (July 15, 2021) – A child sustained critical injuries following a hit-and-run accident on Hayden Parkway, Tuesday evening.
 
According to the Roseville Police Department, the incident happened in the 2500 block of Hayden Parkway. The child was on a scooter when a vehicle hit the victim near Blue Oaks Boulevard, just outside of Siena Apartments.
 
Emergency responders rushed the child to a hospital, where the victim remains in critical condition.
 
As per reports, the driver of the vehicle fled the area. Authorities later confirmed that they have identified the driver. However, officers did not release the name of the driver, who is currently not in custody.
 
Roseville police continue to investigate the cause of the accident. Investigators will release additional information once it becomes available.
