Cheryl Dodgin Dead, Robert Sisk, Heidi Cruz Hurt in Rollover Accident on Highway 395 near Deep Cut Road

 
SUSANVILLE, CA (August 25, 2021) — Cheryl Dodgin died in a rollover accident on Highway 395 near Deep Cut Road Tuesday afternoon.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal solo-car crash happened around 4:00 p.m. For unknown reasons, 55-year-old Robert Sisk allowed his northbound car to drift to the southbound lane. As a result, the car flipped, rolled over and ejected 54-year-old Dodgin, a passenger lying in the backseat without a seatbelt. Tragically, the Burney woman died in the crash.
 
Meanwhile, Sisk and 54-year-old Heidi Cruz, of Burney, suffered minor injuries. Following the accident, paramedics took them to Banner Lassen Medical Center for complaints of pain.
 
At this time, the CHP has not confirmed the source of the accident. Although, witnesses who have more information should call CHP Officer T. Wilder at (530) 252-1900.
