Cheryl Campbell Killed in Pedestrian Accident on Antelope Trail and Sage Avenue

 
YUCCA VALLEY, CA (October 5, 2021) — Cheryl Campbell, a 58-year-old Yucca Valley resident, died in a crash on Thursday, September 30.
 
The incident occurred on Antelope Trail and Sage Avenue at around 7:42 p.m.
 
Deputies responded at the scene and found the unconscious pedestrian lying in the middle of the roadway. Medics rushed her to Hi-Desert Regional Medical Center where she died at 8:30 p.m.
 
The driver of a 2007 Toyota Scion that struck the victim cooperated with the deputies.
 
The Sheriff’s Major Accident Investigation Team cleared the scene. They continue to handle the ongoing investigation.
