Three-Car Accident at Barton Road and Anderson Street Leaves 1 Driver Dead
LOMA LINDA, CA (March 25, 2021) – A woman died in a three-car accident Wednesday morning in Loma Linda, authorities said.
The accident happened around 9:58 a.m., March 24 at Barton Road and Anderson Street. According to the CHP, a 2019 Kia Rio and two other vehicles collided for unknown reasons. The impact caused the female driver of the Kia severe injuries.
Responding paramedics rushed the woman to Loma Linda University Medical Center, where she died at 10:31 a.m.
Authorities identified the victim as 85-year-old Carmen Marquez Rosales of Victorville.
It is unknown if speed, drugs or alcohol played a factor in the crash.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff Major Accident Investigation Team is working on the accident.
