Carlos Salgado-Ruiz Dies in Santa Clarita Pedestrian Accident

 
SANTA CLARITA, CA (January 22, 2021) — A 35-year-old man died Wednesday in a pedestrian accident on Seco Canyon Road near Bouquet Canyon Road.
 
According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, officials responded to the crash after 10:00 p.m. However, police did not release many details.
 
Upon arriving near the intersection of Seco Canyon Road and Bouquet Canyon Road, crews found Carlos Salgado-Ruiz at the scene. After that, officials discovered Salgado-Ruiz sustained severe injuries.
 
Officials later closed Seco Canyon Road in both directions, causing traffic and delays for oncoming drivers.
 
Authorities blocked off the scene. Soon after, paramedics arrived soon. However, the Santa Clarita man succumbed to his injuries.
 
Police have not arrested anyone due to a current investigation into this case. However, if anyone has news on this accident, please contact the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
