61-Year-Old Woman Dies after Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver in Ontario

 
ONTARIO, CA (March 20, 2023) – Carla Massey was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Ontario Tuesday morning on March 14.
 
The fatal crash happened around 5:17 a.m. at the intersection of South Grove Avenue and East Riverside Drive. According to the Ontario Police Department, Massey was walking in the area when a vehicle struck her.
 
When officers arrived, they found Massey lying in the roadway. They pronounced her dead at 5:23 a.m.
 
Massey was 61-year-old San Bernardino resident, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner’s Division.
 
Officers said the involved vehicle fled the scene after the crash.
