Off-Road Vehicle Crash in Lakeview Kills Carey Jones, Injures Another

 
LAKEVIEW, CA (May 30, 2022) – Carey Jones was killed in an off-road vehicle crash in the unincorporated town of Lakeview on Saturday, May 21.
 
Officers from the California Highway Patrol arrived at 5th Street and Yucca Avenue around 8:03 p.m. and located the off-road vehicle that had overturned on the side of the road.
 
Jones, a 63-year-old Perris resident, died at the scene, according to the Riverside County Sheriff-Coroner’s Office.
 
Another person suffered moderate injuries from the crash.
