STOCKTON, CA (August 6, 2024) — Authorities have yet to determine why a car hit a pedestrian on Swain Road near Belmont Place.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the pedestrian accident happened around 8:50 p.m. Friday. Under unclear circumstances, a driver struck a pedestrian on West Swain Road in Stockton. As a result, the victim suffered unknown injuries in the crash.
 
Authorities did not say how the crash occurred or how many cars were involved. However, if anyone has more information, call the CHP.
