MURRIETA, CA (April 28, 2021) – A car crash Sunday afternoon at Clinton Keith Road and California Oaks Road led to a vehicle fire.
 
According to the Murrieta Police Department, there were two vehicles involved in the incident which happened at about 3:16 p.m.
 
The full details of the crash were not available as of this time. However, officials revealed that one of the vehicles sustained major damage and also caught fire. Whether anyone suffered injuries in the crash was also unknown.
 
Based on police reports, the crash also damaged a traffic light and left a significant amount of debris on the roadway. The incident also forced the closure of the Clinton Keith at California Oaks intersection in both directions. The area has since reopened.
