Lanes Closed after Fiery Multi-Vehicle Crash on Highway 4 near Bailey Road in Pittsburg

 
PITTSBURG, CA (June 1, 2022) – Police reported that a car caught fire in a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 4 on May 26.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Bailey Road around 11:30 PM.
 
Based on reports, at least six vehicles collided in the westbound lane of the highway. Subsequently, one car caught fire while another overturned. However, the details that led to the fire and rollover were not immediately available.
 
As a result, CHP officers issued a SigAlert closing all lanes of the highway. Also, four of the vehicles required a tow truck to remove them from the scene.
 
As of now, an investigation is still ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
