Cale Merton, Robert Merten Hurt, Lawrence Anderson Uninjured in Mono County School Bus Crash

 
MONO COUNTY, CA (December 15, 2021) Cale Merton and Robert Merten suffered minor to moderate injuries in a school bus accident on Highway 395 near Highway 108 on Monday afternoon.
 
According to reports, the two-vehicle crash happened around 4:23 p.m. Under snowy conditions, Lawrence Anderson lost control of the southbound school bus on Highway 395. Subsequently, the Eastern Sierra Unified School District bus veered into the opposing lane and struck a northbound Toyota Tacoma.
 
As a result, the 46-year-old Toyota driver, Robert Merten, and his 18-year-old passenger, Cale Merton, suffered minor to moderate injuries. Anderson and the eight students on board were not harmed.
 
At this time, investigators have not confirmed the ultimate cause of the accident. Although, any witnesses with information should contact the California Highway Patrol.
