Resident Suffers Broken Leg during Anaheim Street Takeover at Rio Vista and South Streets

 
ANAHEIM, CA (November 27, 2022) – A bystander was injured in a street takeover at Rio Vista Street and South Street in Anaheim on Wednesday evening.
 
The crash happened around 10:00 p.m. on November 23. Video shows a red Mustang doing donuts in the street moments before police arrived to disperse the crowd.
 
As the Mustang sped away, another driver who also tried to leave struck a man who was standing in the street.
 
The bystander suffered serious injuries, including a broken leg.
 
The Anaheim Police Department is handling the investigation.
