WATSONVILLE, CA (January 14, 2022) – Police arrested 18-year-old Bryan Alfaro and a 17-year-old girl in an accident on Freedom Boulevard on January 11.
 
On January 10, the 17-year-old girl lured the owner of a black Infiniti G35 on Monday to a parking lot on Penny Lane. There, two men armed with a knife held the man up and took his vehicle.
 
A day after, an officer recognized the Infiniti. Police attempted to stop the 17-year-old girl who was driving the car but she led police on a chase. Then, she crashed into a parked car on Arthur.
 
As a result, police arrested the teen driver and her passenger, Bryan Alfaro, 18, from Soledad, on suspicion of several felony charges, including carjacking and assault with a deadly weapon.
 
At this point, an investigation into the case is ongoing.
