Bruce Acosta Involved in Fatal Car Accident on 605 Freeway in Irwindale

 
IRWINDALE, CA (April 2, 2021) – Police identified Bruce Acosta as the victim who died in a car accident on northbound 605 Freeway on March 29.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Ramona Boulevard around 11:19 PM.
 
Based on a report, Acosta was driving a 2018 Nissan Rogue at an unknown speed when it veered off the right side of the freeway. Then, the car went onto the embankment and then went back onto the freeway. Subsequently, it was struck by a car on the freeway.
 
As a result, the Los Angeles County coroner’s office confirmed that 24-year-old Acosta of Cudahy died at the scene.
 
The driver of the other car sustained minor injuries in the incident. Crews transported the victim hospital.
