Big Rig, Vehicle Crash Closes Down 210 Freeway in Lake View Terrace

 
LAKE VIEW TERRACE, CA (June 28, 2022) — A big rig and car accident closes down the 210 Freeway near Wheatland Avenue on Sunday.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the two-vehicle crash happened around 3:10 p.m. on the westbound 210 Freeway. For unknown reasons, a big rig and another car collided, causing debris to litter the No. 3 and 4 lanes.
 
Upon responding, authorities found the guardrail taken out at Wheatland Avenue and an estimated 5-gallon oil spill that required cleanup.
 
Due to the nature of the incident, CHP officers issued a SigAlert at 3:32 p.m. and canceled it at 7:30 p.m.
