SAN DIMAS, CA (July 2, 2021) — A big rig accident on the 10 Freeway near Via Verde Road caused a three-lane closure Tuesday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the big rig accident happened around 3:31 am. For unknown reasons, a semi-truck was traveling at a high rate of speed. Subsequently, it struck another big rig and jackknifed.
 
As a result, crews had to close three lanes of the 10 Freeway for cleanup and the investigation.
