ECHO PARK, CA (August 22, 2022) — A bicyclist was shot and killed on Echo Park Avenue near Avalon Street on Friday night.
 
According to Officer Norma Eisenman of the Los Angeles Police Department, the fatal incident happened around 7:00 p.m.
 
For unknown reasons, an unidentified suspect walked up to a bicyclist and fired shots.
 
As a result of the incident, the unidentified person riding the bike died at the scene.
