Bicyclist Suffers Serious Head Injury after Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver on Cesar E Chavez Parkway in Logan Heights

 
LOGAN HEIGHTS, CA (June 7, 2023) – A bicyclist was seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash on Cesar E Chavez Parkway in Logan Heights Sunday morning on June 4.
 
The crash happened just before 10:25 a.m. at Julian Avenue. According to the San Diego Police Department, a truck hit the bicyclist and fled the scene.
 
First responders rushed the bicyclist to a hospital with serious but non-life-threatening head injuries.
 
Police located the vehicle and driver a short time later.
 
It is unknown if the driver was arrested. Further investigation is underway.
