Biker Dies after Struck by Hit-and-Run Vehicle on Pacific Avenue in San Pedro

 
SAN PEDRO, CA (March 6, 2023) – A bicyclist died in hit-and-run crash on Pacific Avenue in San Pedro early Saturday morning on March 4.
 
The fatal crash happened around 12:40 a.m. near Channel Street. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the victim was riding his bicycle northbound on Pacific Avenue when an unknown small light-colored vehicle also traveling northbound struck him.
 
After the crash, the driver of the vehicle drove away.
 
The bicyclist was ejected onto the roadway and died at the scene.
 
At this time, the hit-and-run suspect remains at large. An investigation is underway.
