Hit-and-Run Accident on North Front Street in Turlock Leaves Bicyclist Dead

 
TURLOCK, CA (March 12, 2021) – A bicyclist was killed in a hit-and-run accident on North Front Street near Almond Avenue Saturday evening, March 6.
 
According to the Turlock Police Department, the accident happened around 7:15 p.m. A driver of a Mercedes sedan struck the bicyclist and fled the scene.
 
First responders rushed the bicyclist to a hospital, where the victim died. Authorities only identified him as a 44-year-old man.
 
Turlock police are asking for witnesses to reach out to the department. Investigators believe the car involved was a gray/charcoal-colored Mercedes sedan. The car would have visible damage on the front or side, and Turlock police believe the suspect may try to get his car repaired at an autobody shop. They added that the front passenger mirror and the front passenger turn signal will be missing.
