Bicyclist Fatally Hit by Hit-and-Run Car on Road 68 in Tulare County

 
TULARE COUNTY, CA (August 13, 2024) — A bicyclist was hit and killed by a hit-and-run driver on Road 68 near Highway 198.
 
The California Highway Patrol responded to the crash around 9:00 a.m. Sunday just south of Goshen. Officials said a person driving northbound on Road 68 struck a northbound bicyclist pedaling on the right shoulder.
 
After hitting the victim, the driver left the scene for an unknown reason. As for the victim, that individual passed away from severe injuries. Officials have not released his name.
