Bakersfield Car Accident Kills 27-Year-Old Benly Nanthavong

 
BAKERSFIELD, CA (November 10, 2021) – Benly Nic Nanthavong died in a two-vehicle accident on Highway 58 in Bakersfield, early Friday morning.
 
The accident happened around 2:40 a.m. on November 5 just east of Claymine Road. According to the California Highway Patrol, two vehicles collided for unknown reasons.
 
The impact caused fatal injuries on Nanthavong, where he died at the scene. He was a 27-year-old Stockton resident, the Kern County Coroner’s Office said.
 
At this time, it is unclear if there are other injuries sustained in the crash. It is also not yet determined whether speed, drugs or alcohol played a factor.
 
CHP officials are still investigating the fatality.
