Benjamin Brunn Killed, Malaquias Guzman Detained in Hit-and-Run Crash on Whitley Avenue near Pickerell Avenue

 
CORCORAN, CA (January 10, 2022) — Benjamin Brunn died in a hit-and-run accident on Whitley Avenue near Pickerell Avenue.
 
According to the Corcoran Police Department, the deadly hit-and-run happened around 10:00 p.m. For unknown reasons, two cars crashed in an unknown manner. As a result, Brunn suffered major injuries. Soon after, paramedics responded and found the 34-year-old unconscious and unresponsive. Despite efforts to save him, they pronounced him dead at the scene.
 
Meanwhile, investigators searched the area but found no sign of the other driver. However, police investigating the case arrested 37-year-old Malaquias Guzman days later and booked him into Kings County Jail.
