Two DUI Suspects in Custody after Infant Dies in Paramount Multi-Vehicle Accident on Rosecrans Avenue

 
PARAMOUNT, CA (August 30, 2021) – A baby was killed in a multi-vehicle accident on Rosecrans Avenue, late Wednesday evening.
 
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the incident happened on August 25, at about 10:00 p.m. Due to unknown circumstances, four eastbound vehicles collided near the area of Rosecrans Avenue and 710 Freeway.
 
Emergency crews pronounced a baby younger than 1-year-old dead at the scene. As per reports, six other people sustained injuries in the collision.
 
Meanwhile, authorities later arrested two people on suspicion of driving under the influence. Officials did not release the names of the suspects.
 
The Sheriff’s department continues to investigate the cause of the fatal crash.
