MODESTO, CA (June 22, 2022) – A baby was trapped inside a vehicle after a hit-and-run accident on High Street on Saturday morning.
 
According to the Modesto Police Department, the incident happened on June 18. A vehicle was speeding westbound on Cedar Avenue and ran a stop sign. Then, the vehicle collided with another vehicle on High Street.
 
The impact of the collision caused the second vehicle to overturn, trapping a two-month-old infant. Good Samaritans rushed to get the baby out of the overturned vehicle.
