Audelio Tapia Dies after Hit-and-Run on South White Road at Coldwater Drive [San Jose, CA]

Audelio Tapia Struck and Killed by Hit-and-Run Driver on South White Road in San Jose

 
SAN JOSE, CA (March 7, 2022) – Police identified Audelio Esquivel Tapia as the victim who died following a hit-and-run accident on South White Road on March 2.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at Coldwater Drive shortly before 4:30 PM.
 
Based on a report, police received a call about a possible pedestrian accident. Immediately, they responded to the scene and found Tapia with life-threatening injuries.
 
As a result, the victim died in the incident. Officials identified him as 68-year-old Tapia. Police said he lived steps away from where the accident took place.
 
At this point, police are now looking for the suspect vehicle. Also, an investigation is still ongoing.
