At Least One Killed in Crash on Zayante Road

 
SANTA CRUZ, CA (November 10, 2021) — At least one person died in an accident on Zayante Road in Mt Hermon.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a crash occurred on East Zayante Road, which left at least one person dead.
 
Due to the nature of the crash, officials had to close East Zayante Road from 10:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Soon after, officers contacted The Pacific Gas & Electric Co. to the scene.
 
At this time, it is unclear how the crash occurred. However, CHP officers plan to look into this case more closely.
