At Least 1 Hurt, Car Towing Vehicle Crashes Into Pole on 10 Freeway in Chiriaco Summit
CHIRIACO SUMMIT, CA (August 14, 2024) — At least one person was injured after a car towing a vehicle hit a pole on the 10 Freeway near Summit Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the car accident happened around 11:47 a.m. Monday. For unknown reasons, a driver towing a pickup truck with a camper lost control. Subsequently, the vehicle drove off the freeway and struck a light pole before ending up stopping on the right-hand shoulder.
Fortunately, all involved occupants in the car escaped the wreckage before a towing agency, paramedics and CHP units responded.
At least one person was injured in the crash. However, authorities did not specify their injuries or release the cause of the accident.
