Deadly Crash on 80 Freeway in Vallejo

 
VALLEJO, CA (December 11, 2024) — At least one person died after multiple accidents unfolded on the 80 Freeway near American Canyon Road Tuesday morning.
 
The California Highway Patrol responded to reports of collisions around 5:15 a.m. in Solano County. Officers discovered that a series of crashes unfolded on the eastbound interstate just west of the American Canyon Road off-round. The accident created a large backup as three lanes were blocked.
 
Reports confirmed that at least one person passed away in the accident. However, authorities did not include information on the leading factor of the collisions and the victim’s name.
