Armando Hernandez Killed by Motorcycle, Vehicles on Cloverfield Boulevard On-Ramp at 10 Freeway

 
SANTA MONICA, CA (June 23, 2022) — Armando Hernandez died after being hit and killed by a motorcycle and possibly several vehicles on the Cloverfield Boulevard on-ramp at the 10 Freeway on Tuesday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal crash happened around 3:30 a.m. Under unclear circumstances, a motorcyclist struck 21-year-old Hernandez who was attempting to cross the freeway.
 
Police also believe several cars might have run over the pedestrian.
 
Following the accident, Hernandez suffered major injuries and died moments later. Meanwhile, paramedics brought the motorcyclist to a hospital with major injuries.
 
At the time, the Santa Monica Police Department has yet to confirm the precise circumstances of this accident. However, any witnesses with information should call the CHP.
