Rear-End Crash on Highway 62 in Desert Hot Springs Kills One Person
DESERT HOT SPRINGS, CA (December 4, 2024) – Aras Delon was killed in a rear-end accident in Desert Hot Springs Wednesday morning on December 4.
The fatal accident happened around 11:30 a.m. on Highway 62 at Indian Canyon Drive. According to the California Highway Patrol, Delon was driving a Toyota Yaris on westbound on the highway when he crashed into the back of a Lincoln SUV carrying four people.
The impact caused Delon fatal injuries and he died at the scene. He was 69 years old of Twentynine Palms, according to the Riverside County Coroner’s Office.
A female backseat passenger of the Lincoln was injured. She was transported to a hospital for treatment.
Drugs and alcohol were not suspected factors in the crash, which is under investigation.
