April Lyon Dead, Ysidro Pinon Hurt in Two-Car Crash on Adelanto Road and Air Expressway

 
ADELANTO, CA (September 22, 2021) — April Lyon from Adelanto died in a two-car accident on Adelanto Road and Air Expressway Saturday evening.
 
According to reports, the fatal accident happened around 5:57 p.m. For unknown reasons, 21-year-old Ysidro Pinon ran a red traffic light in a 2011 Ford Fusion. As a result, the northbound Ford crossed through the intersection and struck the driver’s side of a tan 1999 Chevy Tahoe.
 
Due to the impact, the Chevy overturned several times and ejected 41-year-old Lyon, a front-seat passenger. Soon after, paramedics reached the scene and confirmed that Lyon died.
 
Meanwhile, emergency personnel airlifted her husband and son to Loma Linda University Hospital for major injuries while Pinon refused medical care.
