Three-Vehicle Accident on 118 Freeway in Granada Hills Kills One and Injures Two

 
GRANADA HILLS, CA (June 15, 2022) – Anthony Diaz was killed in a three-vehicle accident on 118 Freeway in Granada Hills on Tuesday night, June 14.
 
The accident happened around 6:10 p.m. at Woodley Avenue. According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, at least three vehicles collided on the eastbound side of the freeway for unknown reasons.
 
When officers, they found Diaz suffering from fatal injuries and pronounced him dead at the scene.
 
Diaz was a 33-year-old Sylmar resident. It is unclear if he was one of the drivers or a passenger.
 
Two other people suffered unspecified injuries. Paramedics took them to a hospital and were now in stable condition.
 
The cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
