Anson Allen Dies in Hit-and-Run Bicycle Crash on D Street at Second Street

 
MARYSVILLE, CA (April 14, 2022) — Anson Allen died in a hit-and-run bicycle accident on D Street at 2nd Street on Friday night.
 
According to reports, the incident happened around 8:30 p.m. when 29-year-old Allen was in the Habitat for Humanity store parking lot. Under unclear circumstances, a driver in an unknown vehicle, moving at a high speed, struck Allen while he was on his bike. Immediately after, the driver left him at the scene with grave injuries.
 
Soon after, officers reached the area to find Allen with serious injuries. However, he succumbed to his wounds shortly after.
 
Now, the family needs the public’s help in identifying the hit-and-run driver who struck Alan with a possible tan midsize SUV. According to the family, they believe the driver involved might have had some type of issue with Allen.
