Car Crashes Off Embankment in Angeles National Forest, Killing Radja Putro and Anggoro Putro

 
ANGELES NATIONAL FOREST, CA (September 19, 2022) – Anggoro Putro and Radja Putro died in a car accident in the Angeles National Forest on Friday morning, September 16.
 
The accident happened around 9:00 a.m. on Angeles Crest Highway at Mile Marker 47. The location was on a very curvy stretch of the highway in steep terrain. According to the CHP, the pair was in a red, two-door car that went over the side of the road and crashed about 20 to 40 feet down an embankment.
 
Los Angeles County Fire Department officials responded and found the car with heavy damage from the crash. They also confirmed the death of the two victims.
 
Anggoro was 48 years old while Radja was 19. Both were from South Pasadena.
 
It is unclear what exactly led up to the crash. Further investigation is underway.
