Car Crash in Pico Rivera Kills Woman, Teen

 
PICO RIVERA, CA (May 16, 2022) – Angelica Lopez and Nathan Lizarraga died in a two-vehicle accident in Pico Rivera early Saturday morning on May 14.
 
The accident happened around 1:15 a.m. on Whittier Boulevard at Gregg Road. According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, two vehicles collided at the intersection for unknown reasons.
 
As a result, two people died at the scene, one from each vehicle.
 
Lopez was 62-years-old while Lizarraga was 14-years-old. Both were Whittler residents, according to the coroner’s office.
 
Paramedics rushed two other people to a trauma center in unknown conditions.
 
At this time, the cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
