Angel Padilla-Moreno Causes DUI Accident on Highway 29 in Napa

 
NAPA, CA (September 13, 2021) – Police identified Angel Padilla-Moreno as the driver who caused a DUI accident on Highway 29 on September 5.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near 1st Street shortly after 2:43 AM.
 
Based on reports, a CHP officer saw a 2017 Honda Accord stopped on the right shoulder of 29 and near Highway 12. When the officer pulled up behind the Honda, its driver, Angel Padilla-Moreno, drove off at a high speed. Subsequently, she lost control of the Honda. Then, the car struck a fence and hit two parked vehicles at an adjacent storage facility before it overturned.
 
As a result, 23-year-old Padilla-Moreno of Napa and her passenger sustained moderate injuries.
 
CHP said it is investigating Padilla-Moreno for causing injury by driving under the influence, reckless driving, and violating his probation for a previous DUI-related arrest.
