26-Year-Old Man Dies after Hit by Vehicle on 10 Freeway in Fontana

 
FONTANA, CA (September 29, 2022) – Andrew Muett was killed in a pedestrian accident in Fontana early Sunday morning, September 25.
 
The fatal accident happened around 3:15 a.m. along the westbound 10 Freeway, just east of Sierra Avenue. According to the California Highway Patrol, Muett was walking on the freeway when a vehicle struck him.
 
The impact caused Muett fatal injuries and he died at the scene. He was a 26-year-old San Bernardino resident.
 
At this time, it is unknown if drugs or alcohol was a factor. This fatality is still under investigation.
