Amy Walker-Allen Dead, Adryan Segura Detained in DUI Crash on Westlake Road near Nice-Lucerne Cutoff

 
LAKE COUNTY, CA (June 2, 2022) — 28-year-old Amy Maurie Walker-Allen died in a DUI accident on Westlake Road near Nice-Lucerne Cutoff on Sunday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal single-vehicle accident happened around 12:50 a.m. For DUI-related reasons, 27-year-old Adryan J. Segura allowed his northbound 2017 Honda to make an unsafe turn on Westlake Road.
 
Subsequently, his vehicle went off the road, down a grassy embankment and struck a driveway and wire fence.
 
Walker-Allen was a passenger in Segura’s vehicle and wore a seatbelt at the time of the crash. However, she died from injuries sustained in the accident.
 
Soon after, paramedics responded and took seriously injured Segura to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital for care.
 
At this time, officers have him arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. If anyone has more information, please contact the CHP.
